“Portland is a hub for healthy minded-people and a place where we have tremendous access to great quality ingredients,” says Ana Chaud, Garden Bar’s founder. “Yet, our city leans heavily on heavy and fatty foods such as donuts, pizzas, pork belly, burgers, wraps. … We needed a fresh and more health-oriented option.” Across its seven locations around Portland, the Garden Bar’s dishes are made with ingredients sourced from local vendors and prepared in house from scratch, including all its dressings. “We want our guests to be confident in their choices, knowing they had a meal that is filling and healthy for them,” Chaud says. “But most importantly, it is knowing that they have a healthy option when they need to eat on the go.”
The Garden Bar rotates its menu to include new items highlighting seasonal produce. “Spring will bring us fresh and delicious snap peas, spring onions, and asparagus,” Chaud says.
“All ingredients at the Garden Bar are curated and sourced by local vendors. We make all our prepared food in house from scratch, including all dressings.”
